Electric blinds and curtains project, Surrey.

Electric blinds and curtains were a large part of this large house project in Woldingham, Surrey. Our clients are busy professionals with two children. They were looking for guidance on not only the style of curtains and blinds but also the best operation method. After an in-depth discussion battery-operated electric blinds and curtains were the preferred option.

The curtain and blind project was a mix of large tracks and roman blinds. One of the tracks was a large gradual curve and we decided to make this one mains powered due to its size of 6m. The other curtain tracks were able to be battery operation saving on running electrical feeds to the curtain track areas.

The roman blinds were located high up on the half landing and out of reach for operation by hand this made the need for an automated product essential. Each roman blind has independent control. In addition to this function, three blinds on the top half 1st floor and half landing can be operated together with the sixth channel (All function)
