Devil in the detail

When it comes to creating a perfect job the attention to detail. This is often in the form of trims, hardware, and finishes which can provide subtle yet stylish embellishment. Detailing does add cost to any project. OTRT like to take a sensible approach as everything does not require this level of treatment.

This customer opted for an Ash 50mm curtain pole in a farrow & ball coal wax finish. To produce a modern classic look the brackets shown were finished in antique brass. In this case, we opted for wooden curtain rings and wooden finials to match the pole.
The option for rings and finals to match the brackets in an antique brass finish are also available. A variety of decorative curtain pole finials are also available in both wood and metal.

Detailing is very much in the eye of the beholder.  To some, it’s a must to others too complex. There is no wrong or right it’s a matter of personal taste as long as it’s executed properly.

With this project, a linen tieback and applique trim also in natural linen was used as a border to the roman blinds. The detail even went down to the curtain tie back hooks having a bespoke finish in antique brass to match the brackets.

If you require a curtain pole corded or uncorded in any Farrow and Ball colour with brass, antique brass, chrome or satin chrome brackets or rings OTRT would like to hear from you.
