We were thrilled to be part of the recent opening of N.Peal’s elegant new boutique on Sloane Street, London, where we delivered a bespoke curtain installation designed to add a refined, luxurious finish to the space.
This project, completed in collaboration with interior designer Laura Curtis, unfolded in a series of well-defined phases—from design brief to final installation—each one executed with precision, care, and an eye for detail.
Enquiry & Design Brief
The process began with an initial enquiry and detailed design brief. Working from reference images that captured the store’s aesthetic, we hand-picked a curated selection of fabric samples aligned with the vision for the space.
Thanks to Laura’s clear direction and instinct for design, the fabric choice was made immediately—setting the tone for a smooth, focused collaboration.
Fabric Treatment & Compliance
Once the fabric was selected, it underwent FR (flame retardant) treatment to comply with commercial safety regulations, a critical requirement for soft furnishings in retail environments. This stage ensured the final product would meet both aesthetic and legal standards, without compromising on quality or texture.
Curtain Production
With the FR treatment complete, the fabric was sent to our London-based workroom, where our team crafted the made-to-measure curtains with precision. Every detail—from stitching to finish—was considered to align with the interior scheme and the store’s layout.
On-Site Curtain Installation
Installation took place on-site at the Sloane Street boutique. The curtain track was seamlessly integrated into a pre-existing ceiling pocket, creating a clean, architectural look. To complete the design, we installed rope tiebacks and satin chrome hooks, adding subtle accents of sophistication.
